“The crowding of mound, the shrinking and expansion of city changes the tracks of people’s lives.”

The rambling expansion and disorder of the city drives the body to respond dejectedly. The internal self-organization and mechanism are regulated, unyielding to squeeze but to expand calmness. How can we balance the discontinuous expansion of posture between body and society in this urban jungle?

“Grass” aspires to capture the track of people’s lives through data. The work uses light to convey various gestures of movement in the city. It is the restoration of present, it’s not an intuitive reconstruction, but through transplantation and deletion of complex second-hand data. To sort out the growth context in disorder, and shape the behavior that can be repeatedly verified and examined. At that moment, empathy seems not to be so important, but the embodiment of human context structure will be re-evaluated and reconstruct their perception.

城市⽣命脈絡的數據,盎然的⾏動軌跡描寫−「Grass」

「在培塿中堆積相互擁擠,城市的收縮擴張,改變⼈們的⽣活軌跡。」城市的漫然擴張與失序,驅使 ⾝體黯然回應,內部⾃組織與組織機制的調節,不屈服擠壓趨於擴張 平息。於都市叢林的蔓⽣之於⾝體與社會,不連續擴張的姿態該如何取得平衡。曾經平淡無奇, 如今鋼筋與⽔泥岈然窪然像是有機⽣ 命體的盎然⽣長,或許是⼀股無法阻攔的必然,從無序走向有序,並非是強加給的系統,⽽是⾃⾏演化屬 於城市獨特⽣長的脈絡。

渴望透過數據捕捉⼈們的⽣活軌跡,作品以光線傳遞各種於城市⾏經的姿態。是於現地的還原現 場,還原並非直觀的再造,⽽是透過龐雜的⼆⼿資料移植與刪除,於無序理出應有的⽣長脈絡,所 形塑是可被反覆驗證、考究的⾏為樣態,那⼀瞬間共感不在如此重要,⽽是體現以⼈為⽂本的 架構,使之重新評價與感官重塑。
